Working remotely? Try Krakow

working from home? try Krakow

Krakow in Poland is the best city in Europe for remote working, it has emerged.

It has WiFi speeds which eclipse continental averages by 23 per cent and those of the UK by 37 per cent, meaning that people can stay connected easier despite being hundreds of miles away.

It also has some of the cheapest co-working spaces in Europe with monthly fees coming in at the equivalent of under £85 a month. This easily surpasses the UK average of £210 and European averages of £152.

Austria’s capital, Vienna, comes in second place, only due to the overall cost of living being slightly higher.

Monthly co-working spaces there are £40 cheaper than the UK and, like Krakow, the WiFi speeds are 23 per cent faster than the European average and 37 per cent quicker than the UK.

Other notable cities include Antwerp, Belgrade and Palermo where office spaces are less than £85 per month.

Swiss cities are the places to avoid if the budget is tight. The top three most expensive are Zurich, Geneva and Lausanne coming in at around £350 a month.
