What have been your biggest challenges? How did you overcome them?
Our constant challenge is to bridge the gap between Western SMEs and the Philippines. We have to do this both culturally and technically. Culturally, we have used our years of experience in the Philippines to write manuals and on-boarding sessions for both new staff as well as new clients on how to work effectively together. Technically speaking, our offices (Manila and Cebu) are brand spanking new, located in central areas and we have installed super high-speedinternet on both sites. Our goal is to make it feel as though the client and Cloud Employee are physically working in the same in the office.
What have been your greatest successes?
Seeing how our service has allowed some clients to really grow their business and achieve success within their respective sectors has proved to be the most rewarding part. A few of our early clients came to us because they had struggled to recruit locally and were stagnating. Now they are working with their third or fourth Cloud employee and it is nice to receive thank-you emails for that.
