What do you look for when you are recruiting?
I look for three key attributes when hiring a potential team member. A strong skillset and understanding of their craft is the first, interest in our vision is the second and personality fit with our team and culture is the final attribute.
What attributes are necessary in your business?
I think the ability to problem solve and face new challenges daily is key.
The motivation and passion to really involve yourself in the business and the product is what drives results. One has to be up for late nights at work as well as weekend brainstorming sessions!
What makes you a good employer to work for?
It’s important to me that my employees are happy and enjoying what they do. I like to push everyone and I expect 300 percent but I appreciate their work and efforts and am always available to fully support them. Be accessible, fun and fair but expect the best and push people to challenge themselves.
