Jaguar Land Rover has driven to it best ever March sales figures with 75,303 cars sold around the world – up 29%. It has also notched up a record 2015/16 financial year with over half a million vehicles sold. It has been helped by new cars and technologies such as the Jaguar XE and XF and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
Homewares retailer Dunelm said total revenues for the third quarter rose 5.9% to £229million with like-for-like sales up 1.1%. Its online business was strong with a 27.6% rise in home delivery sales. Overall it said it was helped by its Winter Sale offer. John Browett, chief executive, said: “We have enjoyed a good Easter and looking forward to a successful final quarter.”
