Pizza Hut Serving Up Thousands Of New Jobs

Pizza Hut is creating 3,000 new jobs after serving up millions of pounds of investment to boost its takeaway business.
The group said it was spending £40million in the UK and Ireland to open 200 new take away stores over the next four years.
It said one in four of the new stores will take the Pizza Hut Express format offering smaller servings of pizza to be eaten in the store or as a take away.
It will look for new franchise partnerships as well as extending existing partnerships.
“We’ve built a firm foundation for the business since we opened our first delivery store over 15 years ago. We are proud to be on a path for continued growth in the UK, with ambitious plans to open a further 200 Pizza Hut stores by 2020. Our Pizza Hut Express portfolio will play an important role in this strategy, with at least 50 taking this format,” said Raphael Miolane, chief executive of Pizza Hut UK & Ireland. “We wouldn’t be where we are today without our franchisees and we are looking forward to growing our existing relationships, whilst also developing new partnerships to achieve our ambitions.”
At present Pizza Hut has 700 stores across the UK and Ireland, including 270 restaurants.
