Harrow Bangkok is a leader in the ASEAN region for its day and full-time boarding options, and students are attracted to the School for its reputation for academic excellence and a wide range of extra-curricular activities designed to develop leadership skills in its students.
We have recently completed an extensive development of our boarding facilities and we are celebrating the opening of a brand new boarding complex to help meet demand.
The fantastic new facilities have:
- Hotel-style rooms ranging from single en-suites to bigger rooms for up to 4 students
- Access to free tutors for extra revision sessions
- State-of-the-art technology and guard personnel to ensure student safety 24 hours a day
- Access to new and redeveloped sporting and academic facilities out of school hours
The Head Boy of Boarding, Jeff, shares his experiences of boarding life:
“I started boarding at Harrow Bangkok in 2011, and immediately I was helped by the supportive community. The friendly faces and positive studying environment that the Boarding Houses provide is very welcome when trying to achieve your best academically. As Head Boy, it is my job to look after the younger boarders and set up rotas and routines for seniors to take leadership and positions of responsibility. We have amazing facilities and lots of spaces to hang out and get support. I truly believe we have established a place where you feel at home and I am grateful to have this experience at Harrow Bangkok.”
Tim McDonald, Director of Boarding, comments: “Life in boarding provides fantastic opportunities for children to advance academically and socially. Boarders are engaged in a wide range of after-school activities as well as provided with a well-structured study routine which allows them to complete homework. Our boarders enjoy particular success in their examinations, and four of our last six Head Boys and Girls were boarders.”
Harrow Bangkok has doubled its capacity for boarding students, weekly and full-time, and welcomes interested families to visit the School. For further information, or to organise a tour of our boarding facilities, please telephone: +66 (0) 2503 7222 ext 1129 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
